In this Tailor Brands LLC Review we’ll describe our experience forming an LLC with Tailor Brands. We’ll break it down based on Value, ease of signup, amount of upsells and spam, customer service, and the quality of Tailor Brands’ additional services.

Tailor Brands has invested heavily in their website and their concepts are good. The signup process is intuitive and quick. What makes Tailor Brands stand out is their branding and logo tools. With one checkout, you can get an LLC, a company logo, domain, website design, and more.

Tailor brands will form your LLC at no charge (you’ll still pay state fees). Their sign up process is smooth and intuitive. You will have to jump through a few hoops if all you want is a no-fee LLC, but it’s not awful. Overall, Tailor Brands is a great value.

What sets Tailor Brands apart is the optional branding and creative services they offer. These services include Trademarks, Logo designer (and merch), Domains, Website builder, email address, and digital business cards. These services represent a consolidation of services you would normally need to scatter across a number of websites.

The Branding Toolkit Feature

Here’s a confusing piece of marketing. The Branding Toolkit is pitched as an add on feature that includes, Includes 1-year free domain, a website builder, online store, 8 logo designs, digital business card, and social media post maker and business cards tool. However, the Toolkit is not priced and the features it includes are only available as part of their “Elite” package ($249), which includes a number of additional features like expedited processing and annual compliance.

Tailor Brands offers three packages for LLC formation:

Lite $0– LLC Formation and standard processing speed only. This is a great deal, but of course means there is no registered agent service included or any other add ons included.

Essential $199– LLC formation, expedited processing, annual compliance, and operating agreement

Elite– LLC formation, annual compliance, operating agreement, 1-yr free domain, 8 free logos, DIY website builder & online store, digital business card, social media post maker, and business cards tool

Tailor Brands makes starting an LLC easy. They make sure their offers are pertinent to your specific situation by asking you just a few questions about your situation. Each of their offers comes with helpful, concise explanations.

Pricing gets a little goofy at the end, because in order to get their zero fee LLC package, you’ll need to decline their recommended offer and click on “other options” to find the zero fee option.

Tailor Brands “tailors” their offer to meet you where your business is at now.

They provide clear explanations of each step of the process and each of their addons is given it’s own screen that also comes with a clear explanation of the cost and with a simple and clear option to decline.

As with all “no fee” LLC offers, Tailor Brands makes its money on upsells. Most of these upsells are standard issue at standard pricing. You’ll be offered all of these services, though we found it to be done in a clear way, and we never felt “tricked” into signing up for a service we didn’t need.

Tailor Brands standard processing is 14 days. They offer an expedited 2 day processing for $49. Companies like Northwest Registered Agent include next day processing as part of their service.

You can reach Tailor Brands customer service at 1-888-355-5955, though this number is not readily available in their Helpcenter (we found it by Googling). Each time we called we reached someone right away. Their reps are friendly and patient. They aren’t quite the experts that service reps are at companies that focus solely on business formation and service, but we did find them helpful.

What sets Tailor Brands from the competition is their branding and logo services. They offer a fun and free logo creator that instantly populates everything from t-shirts to business cards.
